WEEK 10 NFL PICKS & PREDICTIONS

The Cincinnati Bengals are charging at full speed as the season reaches its midpoint. When the season started, Joe Burrow was slowed by a calf injury and their offense struggled to move the ball and score. That’s no longer the case, as Burrow has regained his mobility and the team has regained its confidence.

NFL WEEK 10 PICKS AGAINST THE SPREAD AND PREDICTIONS

Take a look at all of our picks and predictions for every NFL matchup. We cover all Week 10 games with our expert analysis and determine the best NFL Week 10 picks.

CAROLINA PANTHERS at CHICAGO BEARS

Spread: Chi. -3

O-U: 40

Moneyline: Chicago -166, Carolina +140

The Bears will try to get back in the win column against the struggling Panthers, and they could have Justin Fields back in the lineup. The quarterback has missed the last 3 games with a thumb injury, and while backup Tyson Bagent has had some decent moments, he does take risks with the ball. Fields is a dangerous runner but his passing has been inconsistent. Newly acquired defensive end Montez Sweat should give Chicago an improved pass rush.

The Panthers are hoping that Bryce Young will develop into a top-ranked quarterback, but he is struggling in his rookie season. Chuba Hubbard is a solid runner and veteran Adam Thielen is a dependable receiver. The Bears are 5-0 straight up and 3-2 ATS vs. the Panthers.

Prediction: Chicago, Straight up and ATS.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS vs. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (Frankfort, Germany)

Spread: Ind. -1.5

O-U: 43

Moneyline: Ind. -126, NE +108

The Colts are near the bottom of the league when it comes to talent, but they play extremely hard under first-year head coach Shane Steichen. Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew continues to play adequate football, but the key to their victory over struggling Carolina was defensive back Kenny Moore’s 2 interception returns for touchdowns.

The Patriots may very well be the worst team in the AFC and they are buried in last place in the AFC East with a 2-7 record. Mac Jones is not the answer at quarterback, but Bill Belichick is not going to turn the team over to Bailey Zappe at this point. RB Rhamondre Stevenson is their best offensive player, but 394 rushing yards at this point in the season is not going to land him in the Pro Bowl. The Patriots are 7-3 straight up in their last 10 meetings with the Colts.

Prediction: Indianapolis, Straight up and ATS

CLEVELAND BROWNS at BALTIMORE RAVENS

Spread: Balt. -5.5

O-U: 39.5

Moneyline: Balt. -250, Cleveland +205

The Ravens have been rolling, having reeled off 4 straight victories, including one-sided triumphs over the Lions and Seahawks. Lamar Jackson remains a dangerous quarterback who has a pair of game-changing receivers in tight end Mark Andrews and Odell Beckham, as well as rookie speedster Zay Flowers.

Cleveland has one of the most dominant defensive teams in the league. Myles Garrett is one of the most dangerous pass rushers and Dalvin Tomlinson had 2.5 sacks in Week 9 against Arizona. Baltimore is 14-5 straight up and 12-7 ATS vs. Cleveland.

Prediction: Cleveland, Straight up and ATS

HOUSTON TEXANS at CINCINNATI BENGALS

Spread: Cincinnati -8

O-U: 46.5

Moneyline:Cincinnati -400, Houston +315

The Texans rebounded in spectacular fashion after losing to the Panthers by registering a come-from-behind win over the Bucs. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud came through with a spectacular 470-yard, 5 TD performance that has elevated his status to star level. The Texans appear to have altered the direction of their franchise with Stroud’s selection.

The Bengals have hit their stride and have won 4 straight games as Joe Burrow has returned to full health. The Bengals face the Ravens in Week 11 and could be looking ahead to that key division matchup. The Texans are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road matchups with the Bengals.

Prediction: Cincinnati, Straight up; Houston, ATS

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Spread: SF -2.5

O-U: 44.5

Moneyline: SF -144, Jax. +126

The 49ers started the season as if they were the best team in the league, but they have suddenly lost 3 straight games and quarterback Brock Purdy no longer looks like a dynamic leader. However, coming off a bye week should help their cause. If Deebo Samuel is back in the lineup along with Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk, the Niners will be difficult to stop.

Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne represent a tremendous 1-2 punch and the Jaguars should be able to push the Niners to the limit. The 49ers are 5-1 ATS against the Jaguars..

Prediction: San Francisco, Straight up and ATS

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Spread: NO -2.5

O-U: 41

Moneyline: New Orleans -136, Minnesota +116

The Vikings came through with one of the most memorable victories of the season as newly acquired QB Josh Dobbs was thrust into action against the Falcons and he came through with a game-winning rally. Dobbs threw 2 TD passes and ran for another score following injuries to Kirk Cousins and Jaren Hall, and the Vikings have now won 5 of their last 6 games. Danielle Hunter leads the league in sacks with 10.0 and the defense is much improved.

The Saints were all out to beat the Bears at home in Week 9, and they might have lost if Chicago didn’t turn the ball over 5 times. Derek Carr is a capable leader and Taysom Hill remains a dangerous runner/receiver/passer who will cause problems for the Minnesota defense. The Vikings are 7-3 straight up in their last 10 home games against the Saints.

Prediction: Minnesota, Straight up and ATS

GREEN BAY PACKERS at PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Spread: Pitt. -3

O-U: 37.5

Moneyline: Pitt. -166, GB +140

The Steelers are one of the strangest teams in the league, as they are regularly outgained and outplayed for as much as 3 quarters in nearly every game, but they are 5-3 and tied for second in the AFC North. While they often find a way to win, the Steelers are going to have to demonstrate significant improvement because they will face tough road games against the Browns and Bengals after meeting the Packers. T.J. Watt is a dominant defender, and he could make life miserable for Green Bay QB Jordan Love.

The Packers broke a 4-game losing streak with a 20-3 triumph over the Rams, but it appears unlikely that this offensively challenged team will turn the season around. The Steelers are 8-1-1 straight up in their last 10 home games vs. NFC North opponents.

Prediction: Pittsburgh, Straight up and ATS

TENNESSEE TITANS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Spread: TB -1.5

O-U: 38.5

Moneyline: TB -116, Tenn. -102

The Titans are looking ahead to the future as they have handed their quarterback chores to rookie Will Levis. He has a big arm and the skills to be successful, but he is at the beginning of his career with a team that appears to be rebuilding.

Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield is not about to give up, as he is playing to keep his career going. He has a pair of big-play receivers in Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, and the Bucs have a game-changing player in defensive tackle Vita Vea. Tennessee is 8-2 straight up in its last 10 games with Tampa Bay.

Prediction: Tampa Bay, Straight up and ATS

ATLANTA FALCONS at ARIZONA CARDINALS

Spread: Atl. -1.5

O-U: 41.5

Moneyline: Atl. -124, Ariz. +106

The Falcons may have a hard time shaking off their Week 9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Atlanta head coach Arthur Smith has seen his team drop 3 of their last 4 games and each of those defeats have been one-score games. The Falcons gave Taylor Heinicke an opportunity to start at quarterback against the Vikings, and while he played adequately, he could not lead his team to the victory.

The Cardinals have struggled all season with just 1 victory, but they may get quarterback Kyler Murray back in the lineup. He is a brilliant athlete but he may need a couple of weeks in the lineup after suffering a torn ACL in Week 14 of the 2022 season before he is comfortable. Arizona is 7-2 straight up in its last 9 home games against Atlanta

Prediction: Atlanta, Straight up and ATS.

DETROIT LIONS at LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Spread: Det. -1.5

O-U: 48.5

Moneyline: Detroit -116,LAC +102

This game will be a major test for the Lions as the Chargers are starting to hit their stride after recording consecutive victories. The Lions have been one of the best stories in the league, as Jared Goff has been a solid triggerman for an efficient offense that features rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs and dynamic receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Lions have one of the most improved defensive teams in the league, and they have a pair of game-changers in Alex Anzalone and Aidan Hutchinson.

The Chargers did not allow a TD in their Week 9 Monday night win over the Jets, and Joey Bosa led the way with 2.5 sacks. Justin Herbert appears to be getting healthier after breaking a finger on his non-passing hand, and he gets support from RB Austin Ekeler and wideout Keenan Allen. The Chargers are 7-2 straight up in their last 9 games vs. the Lions.

Prediction: Los Angeles Chargers, Straight up and ATS

NEW YORK GIANTS at DALLAS COWBOYS

Spread: Dall. -15.5

O-U: 39

Moneyline: Dall. -1350, NYG +810

The Giants have been one of the most disappointing teams in the league. After falling to the Raiders in Week 9, they have already lost 7 games, as many as they did a year ago when they made the playoffs. Daniel Jones has a torn ACL and he was replaced by No. 3 QB Tommy DeVito. The biggest asset the Giants have is running back Saquon Barkley, and it’s clear that the Cowboys will focus on stopping him.

The Cowboys are coming off a 28-23 defeat to the Eagles, and they will likely take out their frustrations on the Giants. Dallas overwhelmed New York 40-0 in the season opener, and the Cowboys simply have too many weapons on both sides of the ball. The Giants will not be able to slow down wideout CeeDee Lamb, and linebacker Micah Parsons will dominate on defense. The Cowboys are 9-1 straight up and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against the Giants.

Prediction: Dallas, Straight up and ATS

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Spread: Seattle -6

O-U: 44.5

Moneyline: Seattle -275, Wash. +225

The Seahawks took it on the chin as they went cross-country and played the surging Ravens. While they absorbed a 37-3 beating, it would be a mistake to diminish their chances of making the playoffs. Geno Smith has 3 good receivers in D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba, while the RB duo of Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet is solid.

The Commanders traded outstanding pass rushers Chase Young and Montez Sweat last week, but they still found a way to beat the Patriots on the road. Sam Howell is a gutsy quarterback who will occasionally get reckless with his throws, while wideout Terry McLaurin has game-changing skills. Washington is 7-1 straight up and 5-1-1 ATS on the road against the Seahawks.

Prediction: Seattle, Straight up; Washington, ATS

NEW YORK JETS at LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Spread: NYJ -1.5

O-U: 37

Moneyline: NYJ -124, LV +106

The Jets fell to the Chargers in Week 9, but they are still 4-4 and have a chance to make something positive of their season. Basically, it is up to the New York defense to do the job, because quarterback Zach Wilson is not capable of winning a game on his own.

The Raiders cleaned house last week when they fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler. The team responded with a great effort under interim head coach Antonio Pierce, as the change at the top was welcomed by the players. Aidan O’Connell threw for 209 yards in the 30-6 triumph over the New York Giants and Josh Jacobs rushed for 98 yards and 2 TDs. The Raiders still have a chance to turn their season around, and that should ensure their best game. The Jets are 6-14 straight up against AFC West opponents.

Prediction: Las Vegas, Straight Up and ATS

DENVER BRONCOS at BUFFALO BILLS

Spread: Buff. -8.5

O-U: 46

Moneyline: Buff -420, Denver +330

The Bills came into the season as one of the elite teams in the AFC, but they no longer merit that kind of recognition. They fell to 5-4 after dropping a 24-18 decision to the Bengals, and they made too many mistakes. QB Josh Allen is a brilliant athlete with a powerful arm, but he throws the ball into coverage multiple times per game.

The Broncos have improved since a brutal start to their season, and they are coming off a bye following their Week 8 victory over the Chiefs. Russell Wilson is capable of finding the weak spots in the Buffalo defense, and the Broncos should be able to keep this game close. The Bills are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games against the Broncos.

Prediction: Buffalo, Straight Up; Denver, ATS

WEEK 10 NFL PICKS & BEST BETS

NFL PICKS AGAINST THE SPREAD: BEST BETS FOR WEEK 9 OF THE NFL

  1. At Dallas -15.5 over NY Giants – This is a huge spread, but the Giants are down to their No. 3 quarterback and the Cowboys are coming off a painful loss to the Eagles. They will take out their frustrations on the beleaguered Giants, who may not win a game the rest of the season.
  2. At Seattle -6 over Washington  – The Seahawks have been sold this season, but they are coming off a blowout loss to the Ravens. This should ensure that Pete Carroll’s team will come through with a much better effort as they return home against a team that traded two of its best pass rushers last week..
  3. At Las Vegas -1.5 over NY Jets – The Raiders responded to their coaching change with enthusiasm and their best game of the season in Week 9 against the Giants. New York’s other team has an excellent defense, but the offense struggles to score with Zach Wilson at quarterback. The Raiders make it 2 wins in a row.
