SCOUTING REPORT

Chicago-born goalie prospect elevated his draft buzz after facing 40 shot games night after night and wrestling away the number one starter's job from both Christian Sbaraglia and Andrew MacLean. Before his injury in early December, he was a strong competitor that saw tons of rubber and displays high end athleticism, and competitiveness even though his pitiful weak club at times left Hhim out to dry and having to weather long periods where the puck never left the zone. Has long legs good rebound control strong net coverage with his lateral agility. Needs to imrove his blocker side but has a ood glove.

All this said, he then suffered a devastating where a skate blade severed several layers of his thigh muscle and tendons. His status after that injury clouds his selection, but I am certain that NHL teams will ferret and decide is he can get on the comeback road and be a long term developmental project.
