Woods finally announced that he will compete in the Masters on March 20. Until that date, his participation was questionable.

He has also won 82 tour events during his remarkable career. After a severe ankle injury suffered in a 2021 automobile accident, Woods says he no longer has any concerns with walking throughout the tournament.
Jon Rahm (2023 Masters Winner)
Jon Rahm won the 2023 Masters, making him one of the top favorites in golf betting to win the 2024 Masters. Viktor Hovland
One of the brightest superstars in the game. It seems it is just a matter of time before the 26-year-old Norwegian wins his first major championship after finishing tied for second in last year’s PGA Championship. Hovland knows how to keep his cool when the pressure is highest. Hovland earned more than $14M last season and ranked third on the tour. He could be ready for a big performance here.
Brooks Koepka
One of the top competitors on the PGA Tour for years, Koepka took the LIV money and departed. He has been just ordinary so far, but his play in the major championships has regularly been stellar and he should be hungry to show the golf world what he can do when he is fully motivated.
Xander Schauffele
Just a remarkably consistent player and one who appears ready to rise to the top. He has 13 runner-up finishes in his career and he has grown frustrated with his failure to rise to the top. He had the Players Championship within his grasp but was unable to overcome Scheffler’s magnificent final-round performance. Joaquin Niemann

Few players are as capable of stringing birdies together and getting on a hot streak like Matsuyama. He is third on the money list with more than $5.6M in earnings this season. He has made the cut in all eight events he has entered and he was able to earn $4M when he won the Genesis Invitational in February.

The top winner in the history of the Masters is Jack Nicklaus, who won a total of six titles, followed by Tiger Woods with five, Arnold Palmer with four, and Jimmy Demaret, Sam Snead, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, and Phil Mickelson, all with three. Nicklaus and Palmer are also two of five golfers to have won the Masters wire-to-wire, which means maintaining the lead throughout the whole competition. The other four players to have accomplished this are Craig Wood (1941), Raymond Floyd (1976) and Jordan Spieth, in 2015.
In 2021, Hideki Matsuyama was the first male player from Japan to win the Masters, with an epic performance that included shooting a 73 and winning with a score of 10 under.
