Marques Bolden was born on April 17, 1998, in Dallas, Texas. Standing at 6'10" and weighing 249 pounds, Bolden's basketball journey began at DeSoto High School in Texas, where he was a standout player. He later committed to Duke University, a powerhouse in college basketball, where he played under Coach Mike Krzyzewski. During his time at Duke, Bolden developed a reputation as a strong defensive presence, which set the foundation for his professional career.
