Jonathan Taylor Football Career

Jonathan Taylor High School Career (Salem High School)

Jonathan Taylor played his high school football at Salem High School in New Jersey. His senior season was a record-setting one, as Taylor rushed for over 2,800 yards in his final high school season. At the University of Wisconsin, Taylor had an incredibly successful career. He was twice named Big Ten running back of the year and won the Doak Walker Award twice as the top running back in the country.

He rushed for over 1,900 yards in each of his three collegiate seasons, eclipsing the 2,000-yard mark in his final two years. A two-time all-American, Taylor was clearly one of the top running back prospects of his draft class and was regularly in the discussion for the Walter Camp and Maxwell Award as one of the nation’s top college football players.

Jonathan Taylor NFL Career

Taylor was taken with the 41st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and was selected in the second round by the Indianapolis Colts.

In the early stages of his career, Taylor has shown some promise against the tougher defenses that the NFL has to offer. He has proven that he can both run and catch passes out of the backfield and was a big reason for the team’s success in his rookie campaign.

Jonathan Taylor Net Worth, Salary, Endorsements & Career Earnings

Jonathan Taylor signed a four-year contract worth $7.83 million with the Indianapolis Colts. This is Taylor’s rookie contract, and he stands to make more money should he perform well enough to earn a more lucrative second contract.

Jonathan Taylor Personal Life

Jonathan Taylor is the son of Elizabeth Taylor and Jonathan James. He was raised by his mother, along with his four older siblings.
