Austin Poganski was born on February 16, 1996, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 205 pounds, Poganski began his hockey journey with the Tri-City Storm in the USHL before committing to the University of North Dakota. During his collegiate career, he developed a reputation as a reliable forward, leading his team to a National Championship in 2016.
