Neemias Queta was born on July 13, 1999, in Barreiro, Portugal. Standing at 7 feet tall and weighing 248 pounds, Queta developed his skills at the Barreirense youth academy before moving to the United States to play college basketball at Utah State University. During his time there, he quickly established himself as a dominant force in the Mountain West Conference, earning multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards.
