Cole Swider was born on May 8, 1999, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Standing at 6 feet 9 inches and weighing 220 pounds, Swider's basketball journey began in high school at St. Andrew's School in Barrington, Rhode Island. He committed to Villanova University, where he played three seasons before transferring to Syracuse University for his senior year. At Syracuse, he averaged 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to stretch the floor with his shooting.
