Anthony Volpe was born on April 28, 2001, in Watchung, New Jersey. Standing at 5'11" and weighing 180 pounds, Volpe began his baseball journey in high school, where he quickly emerged as a top prospect. He was drafted by the New York Yankees (99-63) in the first round of the 2019 MLB Draft, 30th overall, after an impressive high school career at Delbarton School.
