Cameron Young Wins Cadillac Championship 2026 Hero

Cadillac Championship 2026 winner Cameron Young was never seriously threatened from the opening tee shot. Cameron Young went wire-to-wire at Trump National Doral to capture the Cadillac Championship on Sunday in Doral, Florida. Young finished 19-under par 269, closing with a final-round 68. Young won by six shots over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and collected $3.6 million from the $20 million purse.

A Dominant Week With No Real Challenger

Scottie Scheffler finished second for the third consecutive PGA Tour start. Scheffler ran second to Rory McIlroy at the Masters. Scheffler then lost a playoff to Matt Fitzpatrick at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head. At Doral, Scheffler closed with a 68 for 13-under total. Cameron Young was never within reach on Sunday.

Ben Griffin finished third at 12-under after a final-round 68. Adam Scott tied for fourth at 11-under with a Sunday 64, the low round of the day. Scott’s 11-under finish likely secured his spot in the upcoming US Open. A US Open start for Scott would be his 100th consecutive major championship appearance.

Cameron Young called a one-stroke penalty on himself on the second hole Sunday. Young’s ball moved at address in the fairway, costing him one shot. Young still made par on that hole. Young called the self-penalty standard practice for the sport. Cameron Young also won The Players Championship earlier in 2026, collecting $4.5 million. The Cadillac title is Young’s second PGA Tour win in four starts this season.

Rain softened the Blue Monster course Sunday morning, delaying the start by two hours. The average score across the field Sunday was 69, compared to 71-plus in the first three rounds. Cameron Young shot 68 through the soft conditions. Young called the difficult conditions mentally easier to manage, not harder.
