What SB 10092 Restricts and Who It Covers SB 10092 prohibits paid ads, sponsored content, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, algorithmic promotion, and targeted amplification. The restriction applies when the user is a minor, defined as anyone under 18. The covered verticals include online sweepstakes gaming, sports-related gambling, traditional online gambling, and predictive market wagering. Operators must reasonably determine the user is not a minor before serving any covered ad. The No Gambling for Kids Act builds on Senate Bill 5935. Governor Kathy Hochul signed SB 5935 in December 2025, banning sweepstakes casinos in New York outright. The 2026 New York legislative session ends on June 4, 2026.
