Lindor Injury Hits Mets Hours After Soto Return

The injury struck in the 4th inning against the Minnesota Twins on April 22. Francisco Alvarez doubled off Twins lefty Connor Prielipp, and Francisco Lindor labored on the bases. Francisco Lindor signed a 10-year, $341 million extension with the Mets in January 2021. Lindor won Gold Gloves at shortstop in 2022 and 2023. A long absence would shift Bo Bichette to everyday shortstop duty.
