Breece Hall Jets extension is done. The New York Jets signed running back Breece Hall to a three-year deal worth up to $45.75 million on Friday. The agreement includes $43.5 million in guaranteed money, per ESPN.

Hall Trades the Franchise Tag for Long-Term Security in New York

The Jets placed Breece Hall on the franchise tag on March 3, 2026. That tag kept Hall off the free-agent market while both sides worked toward a permanent deal. Negotiations wrapped Friday with a contract paying Hall at a market rate for elite running backs.

Breece Hall has been the Jets’ featured back since New York selected Hall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Hall’s burst and pass-catching ability have made Hall one of the AFC’s most dynamic runners. The Jets built their offense around Hall, and the new deal reflects that long-term bet.
