Gilgeous-Alexander scored 20 or more points in every one of his 68 regular season games in 2025-26. That streak eclipsed Wilt Chamberlain’s record for consecutive 20-point games, which stood since 1963. Gilgeous-Alexander became the first player since Chamberlain in 1963-64 to score 20-plus points in every game of a season.

Gilgeous-Alexander is the first guard to win back-to-back MVP honors since Stephen Curry in 2015-16. The Thunder star joins Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Curry, Nikola Jokic, and 10 others in the back-to-back MVP club. Gilgeous-Alexander shot 55.3 percent from the floor and 87.9 percent at the free throw line in 2025-26.
