Cunningham Powered a Historic Road Elimination Comeback

Cunningham delivered 19 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter alone. The Pistons star added 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block across 42 minutes. Cunningham outscored the entire Magic roster 24-19 in the second half.

Detroit trailed by 24 points in the second half at Amway Center. The Pistons outscored the Magic 31-8 over the final 12 minutes of regulation. Orlando shot 4-of-37 from the field in the second half. The Magic converted just 2 of 18 three-point attempts after halftime. Orlando missed 23 consecutive field goals during that stretch.

That 23-miss streak is the longest by any playoff team since the 1997-98 season. Detroit recorded the largest road elimination comeback since the 1996-97 playoffs. The top-seeded Pistons (60-22) now host the eighth-seeded Magic (45-37) in Game 7.

Game 7 tips off Sunday, May 3, at 3:30 PM ET at Little Caesars Arena. ABC will broadcast the game nationally. The winner advances to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
