The Minnesota Vikings no longer have the comfort of knowing that Kirk Cousins will deliver accurate passes from the pocket because he left through free agency. Since rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy suffered a torn meniscus in the first preseason game, Sam Darnold is charged with running the Vikings offense and the quarterback will be able to depend on Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison at the WR positions.
The Giants are a work in progress on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback Daniel Jones has size, athleticism, arm strength and athletic ability, but he has not played with consistency at this point in his career. Devin Singletary takes over at the running back slot since Saquon Barkley left for the Eagles.
