Travis Hines was born on March 15, 2002, in Austin, Texas. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 215 pounds, Hines developed his skills early on at Westlake High School, where he was a standout quarterback. His impressive high school career earned him a scholarship to play for the University of Texas, where he quickly made a name for himself in the NCAAF.
Hines is known for his dual-threat capabilities, combining a strong arm with the ability to make plays on the ground. He's particularly effective in play-action scenarios, often catching defenses off-guard with his quick decision-making. His mobility allows him to extend plays, making him a constant threat both inside and outside the pocket.
During his sophomore year, Hines led the Longhorns to a 10-3 record, throwing for over 3,200 yards and 28 touchdowns, while adding 600 rushing yards and 8 scores on the ground.
