Seth Foster was born on March 14, 2002, in Birmingham, Alabama. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 215 pounds, Foster began his football journey in high school, where he quickly became a standout quarterback. His performance earned him a scholarship to play in the NCAA Football (NCAAF), where he joined the University of Alabama's team, the Crimson Tide. Known for his strong arm and quick decision-making, Foster was highly recruited by top college programs.
Foster is known for his dual-threat capabilities, combining a powerful throwing arm with the ability to scramble effectively. His 40-yard dash time of 4.6 seconds makes him a constant threat on the ground. Defenses must account for his mobility, which opens up passing lanes. Foster's poise under pressure and ability to read defenses have been key to his success in the NCAAF. He's particularly effective in play-action situations, where his decision-making shines.
During his sophomore year, Foster led the Crimson Tide to a 13-1 record, securing a spot in the College Football Playoff. He threw for over 3,500 yards, with 28 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions, ranking him among the top quarterbacks in the league. Foster was named to the All-SEC First Team and was a finalist for the Davey O'Brien Award, recognizing the nation's best college quarterback.
