Ryan McCarthy was born on March 15, 2001, in Austin, Texas. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 210 pounds, McCarthy's athletic prowess was evident early on. He attended Westlake High School, where he was a standout quarterback, leading his team to a state championship in his senior year. His impressive high school career caught the attention of several college scouts, ultimately leading him to a scholarship offer from the University of Texas.
