Standing at 6'2" and weighing 220 lbs, Pang began his football journey at Westlake High School, where he quickly established himself as a formidable linebacker. His high school career was marked by impressive stats, including 120 tackles and 10 sacks in his senior year, earning him a spot in the Texas All-State team.
