Mark Cooper was born on March 15, 2002, in Dallas, Texas. Standing 6'2" and weighing 220 pounds, Cooper began his football journey at Westlake High School, where he quickly made a name for himself as a standout quarterback. His exceptional arm strength and on-field vision earned him multiple state-level accolades and a scholarship to play for the Texas Longhorns (8-5).
Cooper is known for his strong pocket presence and ability to read defenses effectively. His quick release and accuracy on deep throws make him a constant threat to opposing defenses. Unlike many quarterbacks, Cooper excels at extending plays with his legs, making him a dual-threat option. His decision-making under pressure has been a key factor in his success, often leading to impressive late-game performances.
During his sophomore year, Cooper led the Longhorns to a bowl game victory, throwing for over 3,500 yards and 28 touchdowns. His performance earned him a spot on the All-Big 12 Second Team. As a junior, he continued to break records, including the single-season passing yards record for the Longhorns, solidifying his status as one of the top quarterbacks in NCAAF.
