Joshua Josephs was born on March 15, 2002, in Miami, Florida. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 245 pounds, Josephs has the ideal physique for a defensive end. He began his football journey at Miami Central High School, quickly establishing himself as a dominant force on the field. His high school career was marked by impressive stats, including 15 sacks and 50 tackles in his senior year, which earned him a four-star recruit rating.
Josephs is known for his explosive speed off the edge and his ability to disrupt the backfield. His agility and strength make him a formidable opponent for any offensive line. He excels in pass-rushing situations, often using his quick first step to gain an advantage over blockers. Additionally, his awareness and ability to read plays allow him to be effective in both run defense and pass coverage.
Since joining the NCAAF with the Tennessee Volunteers, Josephs has continued to make a name for himself. In his freshman season, he recorded 30 tackles, 8 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles, earning him a spot on the All-SEC Freshman Team. His performance has not only contributed to his team's success but has also made him a player to watch in upcoming seasons.
