John Hoyet Chance was born on March 15, 2002, in Birmingham, Alabama. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 220 pounds, Chance developed his skills early on at Hoover High School, where he quickly became one of the standout players in Alabama's competitive high school football scene. His performance on the field earned him a scholarship to play for the University of Alabama, where he began his collegiate career in 2020.
