Jermiah Skipworth Jr. was born on May 15, 2002, in Birmingham, Alabama. Standing at 6'1" and weighing 215 pounds, Skipworth Jr. demonstrated exceptional athleticism from an early age. He attended Jefferson High School, where he excelled in multiple sports, but it was football where he truly made his mark. His high school career was highlighted by a senior year in which he rushed for over 1,500 yards and scored 20 touchdowns, earning him a scholarship to play at the collegiate level.
Skipworth Jr. is known for his explosive speed and agility, making him a formidable running back in the NCAAF. His ability to find gaps in the defense and accelerate through them has been a key asset for his team. Additionally, his vision and decision-making on the field allow him to maximize yardage on every play. Scouts have praised his balance and power, which enable him to break tackles and gain extra yards, making him a dual-threat in both rushing and receiving situations.
In his freshman year, Skipworth Jr. quickly established himself as a standout player, contributing significantly to his team's success. He was named to the All-Conference Second Team after amassing over 1,000 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns. His performance in the rivalry game against State University, where he recorded 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns, was a highlight of his collegiate career. As he continues to develop, Skipworth Jr. is poised to become one of the top running backs in the NCAAF.
