Jake Jennings was born on March 15, 2002, in Austin, Texas. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 220 pounds, Jennings began his football journey at Austin High School, where he quickly made a name for himself as a dual-threat quarterback. His impressive high school stats, including over 3,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in his senior year, earned him a scholarship to play for the University of Texas.
Jennings is known for his strong arm and quick decision-making abilities. His dual-threat capability allows him to extend plays with his legs, making him a constant threat both in the pocket and on the move. His ability to read defenses and adjust plays at the line of scrimmage sets him apart from many of his peers in the NCAAF.
During his sophomore year, Jennings led the Longhorns to a 10-3 record, throwing for over 3,500 yards and 28 touchdowns. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and received the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award Watchlist recognition. His performances have made him a key player to watch in the upcoming seasons.
