Collin Matteson was born on March 15, 2002, in Austin, Texas. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 215 lbs, Matteson began his football journey at Westlake High School, where he quickly emerged as a standout linebacker. His high school career was marked by exceptional performances that earned him All-State honors and a scholarship offer from a top NCAAF program.
Matteson is known for his aggressive playing style and exceptional field awareness. He's a versatile linebacker with the ability to excel in both pass coverage and run defense. His speed and agility make him a formidable opponent, while his tackling precision and ability to read the offense set him apart from his peers.
During his time in NCAAF, Matteson has consistently been a key defensive player for his team. In his sophomore year, he recorded 85 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 4 interceptions, earning him a spot on the All-Conference First Team. His performance has not only contributed to his team's success but also caught the attention of NFL scouts.
