Henderson went 11-for-15 from the field and 5-for-9 from 3-point range for his career playoff high. Henderson scored 13 points in the first quarter and five more in the fourth. Henderson is 22 years old and in his third NBA season.

Jrue Holiday contributed 16 points, nine assists, five rebounds, and two blocks for Portland. Holiday’s basket at 2:02 of the fourth quarter gave the Trail Blazers a 101-100 lead. Robert Williams III delivered 11 points and nine rebounds off the Portland bench. Williams III’s basket with 12 seconds remaining put the Trail Blazers up 104-101.

San Antonio built a 93-79 lead in the fourth quarter before the Blazers’ comeback. The Spurs lost Victor Wembanyama to concussion protocol with 8:57 left in the second quarter. Without Wembanyama, San Antonio’s defensive rating dropped from 103.6 to 113.7 points allowed per 100 possessions.

Toumani Camara hit two free throws with 5.2 seconds left to push Portland to 106-103. Game 3 is Friday in Portland at 10:30 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
