Cade Cunningham scored 25 points and 10 assists in Game 2. The Detroit Pistons beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-97 on Thursday night. Detroit leads the second-round Eastern Conference playoff series 2-0.

Cunningham Seals It in the Fourth

Twelve of Cade Cunningham’s 25 points came in the fourth quarter. Cunningham converted 8 of 8 free throw attempts, delivering in every critical possession down the stretch. Daniss Jenkins added 14 points off the bench for Detroit.

Tobias Harris finished with 21 points for the Pistons. Duncan Robinson hit 5 of 9 three-point attempts, finishing with 17 points for Detroit. Detroit’s depth outpaced Cleveland across four quarters.

Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland with 31 points on 11-of-24 shooting. Jarrett Allen added 22 points for the Cavaliers in a losing effort. Mitchell’s output was not enough without support from James Harden.

James Harden shot 3-of-13 from the field in Game 2. Harden missed all 4 three-point attempts and posted a team-worst plus/minus of -15. Harden now has 11 turnovers against just 9 made field goals through two games in the series.
