Second year eligible is a high end skater with prototypical size for rearguard. After two seasons in the OJHL, where he decided to play instead of becoming an away from billet for the OHL that selected him (he went unselected, probably because teams knew he was staying close to home), he joined the NCAA Merrimack and added instand impact. Has gotten a bit stronger and benefited by his college training regime. He is a smart offensive generating defender who likes to carry the puck and jump up into the action. Has good vision and patience with the puck. His defensive game is a work in progress, butbhe is progressing.
