Developing offensive puck-moving defenseman who has abilty to drive play using his vision, pass, and a set of pro-sized skills to attack the net. Already sturdy enough to handle contact,his game is based on his carrying and his high end lateral movement. He can gain separation, and has a quiver full of ways to rush and get through traffic, leveraging his mobility and is strong in both the defensive zone and on the rush. His inside edging and hip mobility allows him to seal and close gaps, to pivot smoothly to retrivals, and in the attack zone, on the cycle. His hands are very good and although he is more a manager than an elite rearguard who creates on te attack with regularity. Committed to Michigan State University, where he will be able to add strength, muscle, more vision, and have time to add aggression that comes from controlled positioning and not over use of his speed in gambles. His starting point after being selected is that he has NHL caliber feet and puck handling abilty, and from there to muscle up to handle the wall, and his defensive side with more in the tool box.
