Connor Bedard's cousin through marriage is setting himself as a top prospect for the 2025 Entry Draft. He is more of a Kucherov clone in that he displays the same type of sneaky quick one-timer that we all used to watching Kucherov watching score with, but all has a high hockey IQ and the puck patience to put that smarts to work on the attack. An effortless skater with terrific puck handling ability and movement, and vision. He quickly scans the entire ice and reads the attack opportunities by seeing his mutiple optipns and choosing one that provides the best chance of cashing in. His wingers have to be ready for surprise but I haven't even praised his dealy shot, that he can disguise as a possible pass.
