A giant centreman engages physically, initiates contact early on, and can stand up and cause problems whether he is physically engaging opponents, clogging shooting lanes, or winning battles. He uses his frame well to overwhelm defenders in battles, retrieves pucks easily, and then delivers pucks to teammates on the inside. Displays good lateral mobility for a player his size. He plays a sound two way game willing to do whatever bring his team a win. He has decent carries and enough puck handling ability that he won’t embarass himself, but don’t expect a guy this large to not be feeling out his way. There is no question that a team calls his name. He shoots the puck well, and his skating is providing avenues towards success. He isn’t driving the play but ius starting to play highly connected series of plays in his offensive flurries. Crashing, winning inside position, using his advantages to win pucks is simply where it starts. Is there enough tfor him to eventually evolve into a top six element? No one can answer that, so for now, his name is called to ratchet up a team’s fourth line disturbance.
