The top ranked Upper Midwest regional player springboarded off his Glinka-Gretzky Tournament with a two point per game pace with Shattuck St. Mary’s. Still on the small side at 179 lb.s, he is does a good bit of film study and strong competition, and his approach is one that basically lets the play come to him, creating seams and precise puck movements leading to higher percentage scoring opportunities. Gets to the right spots and has a junkyard dog mentality. Has top flight vision and makes the players around him better. His grit and willingness to get inside, drive the net, or dig out loose pucks outweigh any size concerns. Darts through seam to get to the slot. He looks like a smooth, calm playmaker with high end hockey sense and abilities who plays big and is currently living in the weight room to add muscle before his graduation to North Dakota, where he is committed.Projects as a possible top 60 pick.
