Ty ’s jump to the BU was a move that was never seen as an easy transition, but it is not overly optimistic to project his play (which has been average) to improve as his college baptism continues. He has speed, a solid foundation in his hockey smarts and size, and a good stick on 200 feet of ice surface. You draft him if you see that, and wait for the developing pieces to fall in place and start playing like player of consistently creating advantages and become that highly rated prospect at the college level. Before you start down-grading his possibilities of being selected one or two, remember he’s the MVP in his Muskegon team’s Clark Cup USHL win last Spring. I would be hard pressed to attempt to name an USHL centre with as much talent. He is pretty solid defensively, his two-way precense, such high-level skills and as some snarl in the attack zone. Is smart transitioning, but I like a bit more jump from him. You select him and let his game build.
