Hayes is the younger brother of CHI draft pick Gavin Hayes. Does not score as much as Gavin, who was over a point per game at the same age in Flint. Another smaller player but is physical as indicated by some PIM. Looks like maybe a bottom 6 energy guy – probably needs better scoring to make the NHL. Ranked in mid-to-late rounds, CHI could take him in round 4-6-7. Improved scoring from the 2023-24 season, so conceivably could make another jump next season.
