A big lanky winger who plays a strong two-way game and displays plenty of offensive potential. Displays a hard heavy shot, and good on-ice presence in the attack zone. he projects as a top 20 selection, but doesn’t consistently show the type of game-breaking abilities he seems to have. Until he ramps up his pace, and shows he can impact offensively consistently, scouts will not accept his defensive side as enough to consider him early, since it is full of shoddy defensive coverages, passive puck battles, and questionable time not engaged. This lanky kid needs some more gitty-up, but in motion, he reads and creates, has that nice reach and size as he progresses and is asked to apply contact to create chances. The production and flash hasn’t emerge yet this, his third OHL Niagara Ice dog season, with it, I think there is good upside in his abilty to be an NHL left winger, but so far a lot less physicality than you desire from suck a big fast scorng winger.
