A highly skilled left winger who is a high end skater that excels on the power play. He handles quick receptiions of pucks and sets up passing plays quickly as the attack develops. Plays physical for a guy his size, and plays through contact. There may be plenty of growth spurt left in his growing up, and you have to wonder what type of puck distruptor and play builder the finished product is. He has to continue to consistently create five on five, build plays at pace, and finish if the wingers get the puck back to him. A slick handler in transitions, he has had success in zon entries. This is another area that a developmental spike has to come. He arrives at Penn State as MacKenna departs and he will be asked to fill Gavin’s big skates by using his dynamic quick release and vision to pick up the offensive slack. The team that drafts him will be hopeful he holds the puck and uses his space and time to further a connection to an offensive look, instead of being a perimeter shooter who really wants to quick pass to linemates sand then sputters when he need to create the next offensive opening by himself. It seems to too soon to relegate his effectivenss until he advances his development at Penn and in his NHL team’s stable. This IS a good hockey player.

Sunday, September 28, 2025 – Very thin but fast player who is always around the puck. Despite his size he is usually around the crease on offense and is always dangerous. Speed, agility, and reading the play have him ranked high for the 2026 draft. Had a goal and 5 PIM in the game. Had 63-29-23-52 in Owen Sound last year, is wearing an “A” this year. –John Skinner–
