A Czech goalie who stands to get selected early although he is not tall or think, but was arguably the best goalie at the last Ivan Hlinka-Gretzky tournament. Extremely competitive while staying coll and calm and strong mentally while under fire. Has excellent flexibility and athleticism. Display nimble feet and will use both blades for side to side push offs with control, and for quick down & up repositioning. Goes to the top of the paint and challenges shooters. He baits shooters, giving an opening and then shuttiung it down. Absorbs shots to his body. He is very good on breakaways by forcing shooters to commit before he does. Likes to go out and handle the puck and move it to teammates. He just might have been the best goaltender in the August 2024 Hlinka Cup. A very smart, patient, and very competitive prospect with high end athleticism, balance, flexibility and nimble skate work, who positions himself well. Slides post to post well, his glove stays high, and uses his pads and body to soak up pucks to eliminated many rebounds. He baits shooters to make the first move. His blades provide push off to go laterally, or get to the top of the paint in challenges. Should avoid as many handles where he wants to get the puck down ice by himself. A poised mentally strong money goalie prospect.
