Displays plenty of jump, willingness to engage in board battles although he is an under six foot wing. He can ratchet up his pace and use his hockey smarts and vision to showcase his high end passing and five on five offense. There is no hesitation to have him on your power play. If you isolate his play, you will see the high motor if he gets the puck and launches his high end shot. He is good one on one on both offense and defense. Gives a strong effort as a wall player, even though his current physical stature hampers any strong dominance when engaging. Building his all around game as he develops will mean you can expect less shifts where he is an outlier, in wait of chances to an assertive attacker instead of a confident carrier who trusts himself to be strong on pucks and winning the board battles with more than his tenacious willingness. His all around game is a work in progress, but there are tanatlizing parts already in place that indicate he can help a NHL team to score goals, at both even strength and on the man advantage. In the OHL Top Prospects Game, he was named Team West’s player of the game.Committed to Michigan State University for the 2026-27 season.—Bill Płaczek—
