LeCompte was #204 in the Central Scouting midterm rankings, but by the end of the season he had dropped off the list. He is a smaller player with a decent scoring touch, and did well in points on a good Chicoutimi team. In games I saw he was active and in the play. Likely did not show the size, strength and scoring for a team to draft him this year, and so must bulk up and improve, looking toward the 2026 draft. He is the son of Eric LeCompte, the Blackhawks first round pick in 1993 (#24 overall). Chicoutimi will return 2025 eligibles Guite, Huang, and Gosselin so LeCompte will have help in improving next year. Nathan LeCompte
