Huge Slovakian goalie with excellent athleticism who comes to play and maintains technique and is confident in his ability to anticipate and stay positioned in the barrage. He lets things come to him, and he is confident he will stop te puck. He does have issues with rebound control and his pads don’t seem soft enough to absorb, and allow him to redirect them well. He needs to play more off his goal line and challenge the shooter more aggressively, as his size will aid in stopping looks. In case you watched the Hlinka Cup, this is the kid that helped Slovakian to steal a point from Sweden when his desperation saves lead to the game going to overtime.–Bill Płaczek–
