An early entry status player in the CHL, he has two years under his belt developing and will finally step into the role of a top six centre this season, after being switched to 3rd line centre last season from wing. His high hockey IQ and continued maturation and continued commitment to the defensive side of his game. His offensive side, his puck distruibution, handling, his skating and shooting continue to improve as does his stick placement and success in puck battles. Your not getting a goal scorer as much as you are getting an offensive generator, as his hockey IQ leads to him doing good things as an attacker and opportunistic scorer, who doesn’t slack in his defensive end duties. As he becomes a dominant player with Saginaw, expect him to be off the board quickly. He has significant upside and may end up an eventual top line player in the bigs.
