He may lack the offensive flair of Schaefer, but there is an abundance to like about the entirety that is part of his game. A mobile right shot defenseman who was a Freshmen this season at Wisconsin where he occupied a second pairing role. He has size, a high hockey smarts for his position and doesn’t have any dynamic qualities to his game, but certainly isn’t comong into his draft year with any discernable weakness in play and toolbox. Has excellent mobility, nice offensive instincts and reads the ice well enough to make plenty of good offensive plays that funnel through him. He is good in transition and maintain his gaps well. Has an excellent shot from the point, but his calling card, so far, has be consistency, due to his mobilty and capability to push the pace of the game through his ever move feet.
