A budding power forward who possesses NHL-caliber hockey sense, passing skill and and shot. His skating crossovers at his size aid in his forecheck, and allow him to spin off defenders to create scoring chances. His edging and over all skating will have to continuing to develop and guys this big need to physically impose their will in games, besides the body contacts that frequently happen through the course of the matches. One could imagine what edgier forechecking and motor were instilled in the DNA. If his skating stride is more upright and his pace higher in a straight line carry. He shows enough speed and depth when he gets going, but that means engagements while standing still see him unable to come away from the boards due to his heavy boots. Working on his skating could improve his edges, crossovers, and acceleration in time. If he grows the parts that are lacking, there is a strong possibilty he carves out a NHL role as a complimentary winger.
