Tall defender whose playmaking skills can sometimes blow games open, whose shot from outside is difficult to contain. He definitely shows promise to be a creator at higher levels, but he needs work on many parts of the rest of his game. Displays a a strong first step. By and large he needs to use his size in his defensive game. His feet and stick are his weapons in recovery on defensive. He also tends to read the ice well, but doesn’t position well, so his gaps are loose. He gets drafted as a offenseman who will engage defensively but has a long development period to build a solid two-way game.
