A big minute munching defender whose poise & skating is high end fast off the rush. Has logged 30 plus minutres in games,and is pretty mistake free in his game, and a very smart hockey player and human being. He’s already a good two way hockey player and has all the tools to ramp it up as a high end creator Reads the plays well, breaks up plays, and intiates many zone exits, poised in his distribution as an attacker on the PP with hard puck bazooka from the point or the hop into offensive jump ins. An accurate passer. He is such a terrific skater,complete player who will find ways to circumvent any issues in all three zones. So elusive and smart at freezing opponents but a smart attacker and he isn’t a flashy mailman, but one who smartly makes connective slip passes while in full stride. You draft him and have no worries he won’t continue growing his defensive game into a stronger one in the bigs. He closes laterally and has a tight gap with is strong stick. His physically on the wall and the breakouts, will never be in question. Nor will his timing, his misdirections in transitions, and using his non-stop mometum to control games. This is maybe the premier reaguard prospect in the draft class, and it is difficult to downgrade him below the forward class.
