Looking for a big right shot’ wing whose captained his team? Boston-area’s Casey Mutryn has projected as a big wing who can really shoot the puck, and stand up against other big bodies and fared well. He does good things in many phases of his position play, but before he starts applying for ascension, his feet and puck-handling will have to get get up some notches. He defensively he marks his mark position. The motors always going.The high energy and aggressiveness will be there and hopefully pace on the attack? At times his skating looks raw, but that doesn’t stop him from putting to use his other tools get looks down low. Displays a offensive hockey IQ, high motor and bite and willingness to disrupt with stick or body. Offensively, seemed less creator that straight line carrier-generator. He continues to improve his puck receptions, and is alway ready to let his shot go. He consistently can string out defenders, and maybe more return passes and quick on the run handles are flying to the open man, as I would say reaction speed is still not as quick as it needs to be. He might handle a 3rd line role in the NHL, after seeing how he can build acceleration through cross-overs and launch into opposing players with dominance and surprise in mind, you can hope he excels past a bottom six role.
