A big minute munching defender whose skating is high end fast and creates off the rush. Almost 200 lbs., but under six foot, Reid is pretty mistake free in his game, and a very smart hockey player and human being. He’s already a good hockey player but has all the tools to ramp it up and become a big leaguer, despite not being 6′ 2″. Reads the plays well, breaks up plays, and intiates many zone exits, poised in his distribution as an attacker on powr plays and offensive jump ins. An accurate passer. He is such a terrific skater that he will find ways to circumvent any issues. He played top four minutes at the Ivan Hlinka in August, and his pro projection starts as a top four defenseman vision and puck skills.
