One of the younger players in the class, this big centre-wing is quite the cannonball when he is taking it upon himself to lead into the next attack. Unboithered by contact, he absorbs it, quickly decide on his oportion and extend the possession, get to the middle and own the boards. At this juncture he doesn’t show high end playmaking skills, or get enough get-up to separate often enough. He wins pucks with leverage and good positioning and his relentless motor, pace and physicality forces the opposition into resets and regroups because of the way abilty to over power and chaotic breakups. Knows how to play the game at 200 feet, and never takes his foot off the gas.The recent under-18 saw him as in a bottom six role, and was always moving, banging, challenging defenders and working the wall successfully. He doesn’t look like a dynamic scoring centre or high level playmaking one. He does project as a big centre who, after his time at Harvard, will win a role on an NHL teams bottom six, or will have developed his skill and tools that project him as more than a big quick physical forward.
