Manny’s son was always going to be a prominent name on the 2026 class, because it was evident last season that he was displaying solid upside in his play as a future NHL centre in a class that seems woefully scarce on projectable centres. Surrounded by an unusually thick Brantford team, he has continued to show characteristics that will lead to an early selection in 2026. He shows strong attention to detail in his game, and is the Battalion’s first line centre. He uses his size and frame to win pucks in board battles and his passing game is decisive, with deathly results ensuing from his dishes. His fast pace, solid handles, and solid decision making skills tantalize, because he is willing to attempt plays he has still not able to successfully complete, but desires to add to his game. I think he looks like a strong candidate to play higher in a NHL line-up as he matures. He already is a willing physical force in not only the attack zone, who with improved passing and his continued relentless pressure, looks much like a solid pro centre.
